The company named after the owner wife name, Azizah Creative Enterprise, was established in Mac 2010 and became active in live feedstock business in the Central Melaka region. The aspiration to form the company came with the intention to diversify the business portfolio from farm products to end-user products such as selling meats, milk and other related food products.

This family business started as early as in 1999 when the owner bought a piece of agriculture land at Bukit Apit, Kg. Air Limau, Masjid Tanah, Melaka, located at road side with the size of 4.0 acres from heritage mother family. Knowing the land is only bearing couple of fruit trees such as rambutan, jack fruit, langsat, jering and petai, it is good to further enhance the value of such property with activities to generate income. Although the land size is limited, the owner had started with having 2 cattles and 12 goats with one farm keeper (En. Rosli) overseeing the animals and daily works. This 1st cattles and goats business was made with contribution from family and relative members and guidance from friends. It all grew up from there until the needs for food products to feed the growing numbers of livestock arose.

The owner decided to purchase a shop lot (1 unit) in 2010 to place the food products mainly for cows and goats due to cater for own consumption. However, due to strategic location of the premise, the owner then decided to sale such products together with other related food items for other animals and farm assessories/items. In Mac 2010, it was officially launched the shop. Another unit (adjacent to the premise) was bought in 2011 in the needs to acquire business space to place the products.

Beside selling the goods, we provide services to transport the products to customers’ house and storage. Such services were provided as to give better satisfaction to customers as to some, they do not have transportation to those items their purchases. Lorry and pick-up truck were bought for this purposes.

The company was set up with a round up capital of about RM 1 million. It consists of two shop lots located in Taman Terendak Heights, Sg Udang, Melaka, 2 lorry and 1 pick-up, 4 acres of farm. The company monthly sale is RM30K – RM80K per month and operating costs between RM20K and RM40K per month.

There are a variety of food products for big and small animal such as cows, horse, goat, sheep, duck and chicken, rabbit as well as foods for cat, fish and birds. All these products are received from local manufacturer through direct buying or through agents. The products were sold in bag (50Kg, 40Kg, 25Kg and 20Kg) and also in small packages for 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 20Kg. Customer can decide for purchasing either coming to the premise or making a call.

Beside selling the products, the company also receiving and buying many agricultural finish products from local people with the intent to sell to others. Such items such as chick, Silas, puyuh meat & egg, goat milk etc.

The company also carrying out transaction for live cattle and goat business especially during the main festival events such as Aidil Fitri and Aidil Adha. It also provides services for animal slaughtering and preparing for meats for cooking and transporting finished products for the benefit of the customers. Also, the company also provides preservation and cold storages for related items for safe keeping.

Customers come from various districts in Central Melaka such as individual, small and big companies through our active publication and advertisement. These include among others Pertubuhan Peladang, Jabatan Pertanian, Jabatan Veterinar Negeri and Melaka Tropical etc.

It is the intention of the company to further improve our services quality and products in near future.

My name is Azizah Bte Ayob and I am the Chairman of the company. It is our intention to provide upmost quality products and services to customers so that they are happy. The customers are free to provide comments and suggestion to better improve our business objectives. Sometimes we received complaints and took seriously to iron out those to betterment of the business. Those complaints are recorded to ensure not the same mistake happen again.

Since 2010, the company has experience tremendous growth and improvement. With the manpower strength of 6 workers, we worked together tirelessly 6 days a week except for main public holidays. Sometimes we worked extra hours to ensure goods purchased are delivered on time.

Among the improvement we made are 1) add new food products to replace old products, 2) increase number of items to attract customers, 3) quick delivery services, 4) receive orders and act pro-actively to deliver those orders and 5) ensure our products are always available at our premises through effective stock piles.

It is our hope that our company can expand further to other areas in Melaka and neighboring states in future. Our aim is still to deliver products and services in efficient and timely manner and in line with our mission and vision. Thank You.
